Going on a Shopping Spree...

Do you want to come?

I thought I would share with you the angles of my room and then show you what I have been looking at to complete the look of my dream bedroom.

Does it sound like fun? Please join me, I found some really beautiful pieces :)

Here is my dresser located between the two bedroom windows. As I said before, I really do LOVE my bedroom set but thought something more prim would be so fun :)

Here's the new dresser that I want...isn't it beautiful? I love everything about it, including the color :)

I forgot to snap a pic of hubby's highboy, it does match my dresser. But I really like this one even more and a perfect match to my new dresser don't ya think :)

This angle of the bed is my side. We own a King Size bed, making it hard to find bedding and a bed frame that we both really like.

...this angle, is my husband's side of the bed...

You see, I finally found the bed I want...this one! But in black. I just love it :)
Sadly since my bed is a King Size, I can't get the duvet cover set that I really wanted. It was made of red ticking and I loved it so much. The weavers said it's just too hard to make because of the size. So with great consideration, I purchased this quilt from Sears...

I want to make this piece the main one on the bed and then add this one at the foot...

And then of course I will need to purchase some new Bolster's. I am liking the ones that show on this bed :) And of course, I will need some throw pillows. So how about these ones???

Of course I would want to trade up the night stands, I fell in love with these two...

Over at this angle, currently I have an antique desk sitting there...

...but boy would I ever love to have this piece sitting there :)

...and wouldn't this little lantern look so cute sitting on it?

Currently I have these for curtains...they will have to change since they will no longer match.

I don't have a pic to share but I am thinking some tobacco cloth ones would really look nice and give the finishing touch.

And since I would be changing everything out, how about this really awesome light fixture???

Now that I look everything over, I guess I would almost have to change the color of my walls :) How about a nice cream color so the colors of the new furniture would pop?

Ahhhh...the fun of dreaming :) Now if I could only win the lottery...LOL

Thanks for tagging along and joining in on my shopping spree.

Hope all is well in your neck of the woods :))) Have a great day and rest of the week.

Hey Sandy! Girl, I love everything you picked out! Your bedroom is pretty nice now, but I see where you are going with your design ideas and I love it! What fun it would be if we could just order everything we wanted and have it delivered!
What a fun shopping trip this was! I hope one day you can make it a reality.
Enjoy the rest of your week!

I am absolutely loving this blog! There are all types of decorating I love like Victorian, Shabby-Chic, but for me, the primitive Colonial look is the one I always gravitate towards. It's so warm & inviting. You just want to sit back relax and touch everything! Your blog captures all of that.
