AnD tHe WiNnEr Is...

What Tuesday is here already??? Where did the weekend go?

Sorry I am late at posting, every time I thought about it, I had to go and do something else. So here I am :)

Last week went really well for Tabitha at the Music Festival. But we are all happy that it has come to an end. It makes lots of running around and missing school. I am not one who lets my kids miss school just because but these were competitions and important to her. Plus she is a very good student and does well at school. It is a great experience to the kids who do participate. There are so many talented kids in our County...making alot of proud parents.

I see on the majority of your blogs that your flowers are beginning to bloom...the snow is all melted and the lawn is turning green. And then I look outside and still see this :( But I have to admit that it has melted quite a bit because two weeks ago we could not even see the chimney. And I am guessing if the sun can stay out till next week, it should all be gone by then.
And then I read other blogs and see that some of you or know someone who is flooding, still getting more snow or even experiencing tornado's. And then you watch the news and see the devastation that just took place in Italy with the earthquakes. We don't experience any of these dangers that God gives us except for snow. And to be honest I will take the snow any day then ever having to experience the other dangers. At least I know it will eventually melt. Let's keep everyone who is any dangers at this moment in our prayers.

I had to run some errands this afternoon, so I had to run over the drug store and FINALLY I saw this...
I snatched it right away. So you can imagine when I am done posting my blog what I will be doing :)))) I have been so excited to see Karen's home from My Colonial Home because I have read so many blogs commenting on her article and to be honest I was jealous. Where I live they do not put out the magazines early at all so I have to be patient. But I did break down and subscribe last night because I received a email from them saying that it was something like 50% off the news stands. I will actually be saving money on the long run. So hopefully I will receive them quicker in the mail then the stores do.

I also wanted to share with you a lovely handmade card that I received in the mail last week from Linda over at Behind My Red Door. It is a picture of her home...what a neat idea. I would of never thought of taking a picture of my things (a grouping) and making a card from it. Thank You so much Linda...I loved the card and I am so happy that you liked everything.
And now to what the title of my blog is all about...

I know you are all waiting to find out who the winner is...RIGHT???

The WINNER of this wonderful gift goes to....

Char over at The Pickled Pepper Patch. Congratulations Char! I know you will put this CD to great use. I can't wait to see the creations she will make from it. So Char if you can send me your mailing address, I will get this out in the mail to you tomorrow. You can email it directly to me at tabnab@nbnet.nb.ca.

I thought I would share some graphics with you all that are on the CD...so enjoy!
And there are many more...along with 50 recipes of making some early prims.

I had some people asking me where did I purchase these CD's from...
Her name is Jules and you can find her over at The Saltbox Peddler. She also offers Wholesale to the ones who have their own business with a business number.

Well I will be running now because don't forget I HAVE to read my Country Sampler. I am sooo excited :)))

So until next time my Friends...

Congrats Char! Lucky girl! It will be 60 degrees today here in Nebraska. I'll try to send some up your way.

Funny question...is there a colonial picture of 2 little boys on that cd?

We too have snow at our house. I hope my daffodils make it. They looked a little rough this morning.

Would you believe I got two May CS Magazines. I wonder what was up with that. Oh well, I have one to keep and one to pass on.

Have a blessed day Sandy.
