OMG...I can't believe I forgot!

The sun is trying real hard to come out today.
It will appear and then disappear BUT you can actually see the snow melting.
YEAH...I can't wait to see that green stuff underneath. I am being confident that by the next couple of weeks the snow will be all gone, the green stuff will appear and my flowers will start growing.

This morning we headed on over to Tabitha's Music Festival.
Competitions here we come! WOW...we have some very talented people in our County :) Here is Tabitha with a couple of her friends that she had to compete against. The girls were a bit nervous but yet very supportive for each other.
We were able to record Tabitha singing the three songs she had to compete in.
Her first song was a Canadian English Kids Song which she won third place in.
Her second song was a Religious one which you can view here, she won second place. And then her third song was a Italian one and she won first place. She was very pleased with her performances and of course being the proud mommy that I am, I think she did a awesome job! She has been competing for three years now and today was her first time winning first place.



We will be back at it tomorrow for two more songs. But tomorrow is not a competitive day...it is for fun. The theme for the songs tomorrow are theater. She has one as a French Solo and her second will be a duet with one of her friends. With the Theater songs they have to be in costumes and I think they will be fun to see.

Now onto the title of my blog...
I can not believe that I completely forgot this but with everything going on, it slipped my mind. Since March the 2kd, I have been blogging for one year. I never imagined a year ago when I started this journey that for one I would have continued with it but also to have the opportunity to meet some wonderful people through my blog. Also just recently meeting two wonderful ladies in person. I feel that I have made some great friends. With this journey we are able to share something that we all have in common...decorating and crafting but most of all, our Families.

I want to Thank All of you for stopping by on a continuous basis and leaving comments. It's because of you ladies that I continue my blog and thoroughly enjoy reading what everyone else has been up to.

So to celebrate my one year anniversary, I am having a giveaway :)

So by now I know you are all wondering what am I giving away...RIGHT???
Last year I purchased 2 of the same CD's that has over 50 recipes of "Making your own Early Simples". Items such as, Early Soaps, Pantry Cakes, Early Lighting and so much more. I am not sure if you remember but awhile back I had a recipe for my mini-cinni buns dipped in scented wax...this is where I got the recipe from. And on top of the recipes there is also 5 different banners and 122 Images...such as Halloween, Christmas and many others.
You can see here the CD and it comes in a brown paper like envelope.
So I want to wish you all GOOD LUCK and like I said on Tuesday I will announce the winner. I really enjoy my CD and what I did was print out all the recipes so I have a paper base to refer to on a continous basis. The images are awesome also. I have a few ideas on what I want to do with some images.

Now I have to go and finish up the laundry and change Abigayle's bedding completely over. We went to the Doctors yesterday and we might be thinking that Abby is asthmatic. And of course she has a feather duvet and feather pillows, the doctor wants me to take these items away. She gets this nasty cough quite often and now it may look like that she may not have had tons of colds, she just may have been having problems breathing. So she is now on two pumps and I have to slowly remove things that just might be triggering these bad coughing spells. We have a referall put in to see a specialist...so hopefully we will get the call real soon. But at least I am happy to know what the problem has been. But yet I feel so bad for her because she has suffered for many months. Poor thing!
