Wished we had a pool because the humidity and hot sun is unreal BUT I am not complaining because before we know it, fall will be setting in. I am a Summer person, I LOVE the sun and warm weather. Thank God though for air conditioners. Even though I hate the looks of this chunky machine sticking out of our window, it does cool off our house and makes it more bearable.
The girls had fun outside and soaked up the nice sunny weather. My oldest, Tabitha wanted to wash down the driveway so she spent the best part of a hour doing that. I had to grab a picture because I know soon the rebellious teen years will set in and we wont be able to get her to do anything...lol
My husband and neighbors decided to go and pick some strawberries for the season. I wasn't going in these hot temps, are you crazy?...lol Hubby got some nice pics though for me to share...
Here is my youngest, Abigayle who ate just as many as she picked...she LOVES strawberries and was really looking forward to picking them also. Those are also my neighbors helping out...
We then finished off the day with the view of our local fireworks. Our week long celebration has come to a end until next year. Sadly the house behind us was in the way so we did not get to see all the fireworks but enough to make the girls happy and we got some oohhh's and aaahhh's out of them.
Well they are calling for a even hotter day tomorrow...yeih! These are times for alot of cold showers...lol.
Until next time :D

What great pictures, Sandy! I'm happy to see that you're all enjoying your summer -- heat, humidity, and all. I posted two yummy strawberry recipes yesterday. Come on over and check them out!
How pretty your little girl is:) I'll bet you will be baking with these strawberries:)

What a cute pic of your daughter. My Mom says I used to be the same way except she would pick them and I would eat them as just as fast.
Your girls are so sweet. Yummy strawberries. I haven't done berry picking before...I would be scared of snakes!
So are you originally from Canada then? That would be kind of fun to live so close to the border. :) Do a lot of canadians get American addresses for shipping? I bet it's pretty up there! I need to visit you, Colleen and Wendy (from my Cozy Yellow House) if I ever take a trip up there! My dream!! :)
It was great learning more about you, Sandy! Don't know much abour Canada and now I need to look at the map a little more. :)
Colleen live in Brunswick and Wendy lives in Vermont. And Linda from Behind the Red Door lives in Mass. So I guess we should have a party! :)
I've never picked strawberries before, but I'd love to, because I sure love to eat em'!
Your daughter is precious! Very cute pictures!
