This & That and A Blog Giveaway...

How was everyone's week? Mine was great...Busy though...

Remember when I was suppose to do my Yard Sale a couple weeks ago but had to cancel due to, to much rain??? I decided to post pone it until the beginning of August just because I have every weekend booked for the remainder of July. Instead I received a phone call Sunday evening asking if I would do a Primitive, Rustic, Country Craft Sale with two other people for next weekend. Of course I said YES! So I have been busy trying out some new items to sell. I have been making pantry cakes, mini-cinnamon rolls, some sugar cones and so on so forth. I am so excited...my first craft sale!!! I went over tonight to the ladies house to see where I will be setting up and exactly what I will be needing. She gave me a sneak peak of her items...OH MY OH MY!!! I must remember to bring my camera to get some shots for you guys. She has some BEAUTIFUL things for SALE. I chuckled off to her that this could be dangerous for me being around all her items. I know everyone here in blog land would also love her work. So I am trying to finish up everything to take over for next weekend.

And then my oldest daughter, Tabitha turned 11 (BUT wishing she was 16) while she was away visiting in Toronto so we are having her birthday party this weekend with her dearest and closest friends from school. It will be a sleep over with 5 little 11 year old's. Should be quite interesting...I should join them in my PJ's and watch a movie...bring back some fond memories when I was young. So that is tomorrow night. (The picture was taken of her while she was visiting her Aunt in Toronto. She looks to be quite proud to sport those heals...lol)

And then the last weekend of July will be the wedding for my best friend in which I am the Maid of Honor. Looking forward to it! I will be all dolled up...lol but it will be lots of fun. I am so happy for her...her soon to be husband is a very sweet person and they are match for each other.

So that leaves me with a very busy July! At least I won't be able to get myself into any trouble...lol

Now onto my next item...
There is a blog giveaway over at http://dailydoseofmotherhood.blogspot.com
Everyone must go and check it out. Jenny has a wonderful prize to be won...or might I say prizes! Thanks to Kindra for sending me over there. The drawing will be on July 15th. Good Luck to Everyone!

Well I must be off to clean up my mess and head off to bed and prepare for a interesting day with a house full of 11 year old's.
I hope everyone has a SUNNY weekend.

Sandy ;)

SHEW!!!! you do sound busy. Oh please don't forget your camera at the sale. And of course any left overs will be available to all your friends here right? LOL.

Kids grow up way to fast. All those little girls running around for the sleepover make me shudder. That's a lot but I'm sure you'll have a lot of fun.

Well you better get your nap in before the kiddo's come over! :) That should be fun and interesting! Happy belated birthday to your daughter!

Now remember to take pics of you all dolled up for you blog friends to see! It's fun being in weddings!

And congrats on your upcoming show! That is exciting! And I'm sure your house is smelling quite yummy these last few days with all your prim fixins! Wish I could go! And take pictures! Want to see your display and the other! And when are you opening up your Etsy??? :)

That is so nice of you to offer a pattern. I would love it when you have time! Is felt or wool expensive? I sometimes read you should get old wool clothes at goodwill and wash them for your wool prims. Does that sound right? But thank you so much! You are so sweet! Have a great weekend!
