I gOt It...I gOt It...

Oh my...oh my...
I received my new cabinet today :)
It is absolutely beautiful!
I love the color I chose for it and I am so very pleased with the craftsmanship.
Hubby finished painting the wall today where the cabinet was going. At the moment my house is very much upside down. We had to move things around to accommodate such a large piece of furniture. It is 5' long and 78" high and boy does it hold alot behind those doors. Exactly what I was looking for since we do not have alot of cupboard space.
Tonight we were finally able to put some things away but I still have more work ahead of me tomorrow. I placed my dishes inside the cabinet...roosters. A friend bought me a set of 6 a couple years back for my birthday and they were just sitting in the cupboard where you could not see them. So now they are in view for everyone to see. I guess I will probably play with decorations till I find what I like most. Look at the crown molding that was put at the head of the cabinet. WOW!!!
Here is another angle of the cabinet. Hubby and I are now thinking about installing lights inside. I think that would give it that final touch. Since it's such a large piece and dark in color, this area now seems really dark. Just a little light to give that soft glow in the evenings.
I hope everyone is having a good week so far. It still has been very hot here...thank god for air conditioners ;) At least it keeps it a little cool while we are working in the house. Hard to believe Friday will be the 1st of Aug. Where did the month of July go?

Well...now I guess tomorrow I will be busy cleaning and organizing and of course changing decorations around till I can find that right spot...hehe

Have a good rest of the week...Sandy
