AnD tHe WiNnEr Is...

What a rainy weekend we have had...
The weather has remained extremely mild but rain...rain...and more rain!
With all this rain, I really haven't felt like doing a whole lot.

Yesterday morning my friend came over and I helped her coffee die her muslin and cheese cloth. Of course I made a mess and got coffee all over my T-Shirt. How did I do that? Not sure but nothing any worse then coffee stains :)

After lunch I then decided to hit the "Christmas in the Country" Craft Show.
Oh WOW...there was so many nice things! I could of spent alot of money there but I was really good and only purchased three items. There was a variety of handmade prim items. One person who was there made all prim furniture and accessories....WOW!!! They were the ones that I purchased this black peg rack box from. It was so hard to choose something. I did not know this store existed...that might not be a good thing...LOL. At another table this lady had this cinnamon scented snowman. He is so CUTE!!! I couldn't leave him there...he needed a home :) I just love the way he is made and she also had these fake soap blocks all covered in homespun material with names written on them. I thought that they would look really good on my stand in my half bathroom.
I am sure this is not where this will stay or what it will hold but for now I will display it here. I had these items sitting in a large treenware bowl on my table and decided they kind of looked good here and they are not hidden amongst everything else.I then decided to head on down the road to visit at my Aunt and Uncles house. I had cousins down visiting from Toronto and I have not seen them for well over 20 years. It was very emotional when we all first saw eachother. It doesn't take much for me to cry so when my cousin started hugging me she was crying so much...it was a bit overwelming but so nice to sit and visit with them. We had ALOT of catching up to do!!! They both have two children so they were showing me tons of pictures which was so nice to see. I could see so much resemblence within our family. It is so sad how we can all loose contact with eachother so we promised to now stay in touch through visiting...internet...Facebook. It's unlimited now how we all can stay in touch. I hated to leave them because we were having so much fun. Our 96 year grandmother was extremely overwelmed we she saw them. It had been 23 years since Grammie had seen them so you can just imagine her expression and emotions. I come from a very large family but almost all of them live in Ontario which is quite a distance to where I reside here in New Brunswick and sadly there a few who have never met our Grandmother. And being the age she is...we just don't know. So that is why I consider myself very lucky to live so close to her and I treasure every moment along with my girls. So my cousins were trying to take in all the time they could with Grammie. I could just go on and on about them because I enjoyed my visit so much.

But I know you all are saying OK...enough is enough. We all want to know who the winner is right???

I have slowly started decorating around the house. Once I am completed, I will make sure to take lots of photos to share along with you all.
