Today is sunny but cool day. It feels like a Winter day! It snowed over the weekend...just enough to make the roads a bit messy. We were quite lucky because there were other places that were snowed in. So no complaining here...
My Abigayle was finally feeling her old self by yesterday afternoon. She was up this morning all dressed and ready to go to school at 6:30am. She claims that her teacher misses her ALOT since she missed school all last week. Poor thing...it broke my heart to see how she was feeling all week. On Saturday she was throwing up but her stomach was empty. I think it was just because she coughed so much that she started drive heaving which turned in to getting sick. She finally ate for the first time yesterday and made up for not eating all week :) She is so skinny...I am sure she lost about 5 pounds or so. But it was nice to see her in good humour and high spirits today.
Over the weekend, we decorated a bit more. Got a few trees up and decorated and added a few greenery here and there. I thought I would share a few pictures with you all. It's starting to look alot like Christmas around here :)
This tree here is 5' tall and is full of handmade cinnamon/apple sauce ornaments. It smells so good!!! Every time I come around the corner that is all I can smell...yum!
My sister made these ornaments for me back in January. She did such a wonderful job. Thanks Shannon :) I also added my homemade candy canes to the tree. I just love how it looks!

Becca from "I'm me, What more do you want?" awarded me with this wonderful Award. Thank You so much Becca. I will pass this award on to anyone who has not received it yet. So if not...go ahead and grab it.
Secondly I was also tagged by Tracy from "Farm Girl Dreamer" with the Tag Award.Thank You so much Tracy for the tag...
So.....let's see........here's the rules:Rule #1 ~ Link to the person that tagged you.
Rule #2 ~ Post the rules on your Blog.
Rule #3 ~ Write 6 random things about yourself.
Rule #4 ~ Tag 6 people at the end of your post.
Rule #5 ~ Let each person know that they have been tagged by leaving a comment on their Blog.
Rule #6 ~ Let the tagger know your entry is up. So here goes...
My random things...
1~ I love everything prim and colonial. My dream would be to own a older home to restore back to it's original look and have it look as prim and colonial as I could.
2~ I wish someday to visit Australia. There is just something about that country that I would love to explore.
3~ I am a talker...I can hold a conversation to no end. I once talked my babysitter to sleep. My father always wished I ran on batteries and now I have a daughter who is just like me. I now know how my parents felt...LOL
4~ I love spending time with family and friends. I am a family person...it means so much to me.
5~ When I was 7 I told my father I was going to become the President of the World and bring peace to everyone...due to the fact I hate fighting/war. But now being a adult, I know there is no such thing as a President of the World. I always chuckle at the thought.
6~ My favorite holiday of the year is Christmas. Just the fact of decorating for the holidays and seeing the joy on the kids faces. And with Christmas, that means we get to share time with family. We talk about the younger years...everyone is full of stories. I just love it!
Now I am to tag 6 random people BUT after visiting everyone's blog...pretty much everyone has already been tagged. So if you have yet been tagged I would love it if you grabbed the award and post in on your blog.
Happy Monday to everyone...the start of a great week...
Sandy
