Another Summer like day :)

As promised we are having another beautiful day!
I thought I would post and check out some blogs before I go out and work in my garden.

As promised here are a couple of photos of the finished work on the tiles. I am so pleased, it turned out really nice! My husband did a very good job :)
Keep in mind all of my cupboards will be changing over to have the worn look. And also the cupboard in the very middle will be black to give it that off set. A project that we are slowly working on. It is a very big job to do so that is why we are working on it slowly.

I also wanted to show you my latest project that I am working on. I saw these in a store and thought I can make them myself. I bought the frames from the Dollarstore and already had the fabric so I coffee died them and baked in the oven at 250 until they had the burnt look. I also had the tags laying around the house so all in all these pics cost me $1 to make. They were so easy to make and you can have any saying that you wish. I thought of one for Godmothers..."Godmothers...Angels sent from Heaven." They make the perfect little gifts. I loved the Dad one so much that I made them for our Dad's for Fathers day, including my husband.

Well I am off so I can get outside and complete the dirty job...lol.
I hope everyone is having a sunny day like us...Have a great day!

Your kitchen is looking great! I love your backsplash! We just finished with our kitchen (have a few more touch ups). We painted our cabinets black and distressed them. It was a long process and glad it's over with!! The hard work is worth it though.

I love your framed tags. What a wonderful gift idea!
