Flood Zone!

It has been official...flooding has begun!!!
There were streets here in our local town that were closed down along with Residences being evacuated. No worry for me and my family since we live very high up but sad for the ones who had to leave. I would cry so much if I was evacuated from my home. I know my items can be replaced but the fact is, this is my home with memories and other items that can not be replaced such as photos or those special cards that the little one's bring home especially for you! I am very sentimental...sorry!
But the water damages as of today have broke records dating back in 1973. Imagine that! Does not surprise me to wake to the danger of flooding since last night right into the night we had heavy down poors with very high winds. Here are some photos for everyone to view. All I can say is that the photos do not show everything...it is alot worst in person then the pic...

And on a good note I have been busy again making some more decorations. I thought they turned out cute. I am preparing for a Garage Sale/Craft Prim Sale. You wouldn't believe the people that come to things like this. Here a a couple of photos of the items I made so far.

And to my last project...this was so easy to make, I want to make more.
All it consists of;
* badding for quilting (left overs)
* picture frame (discount store)
* different size & colors of buttons (package from Dollarstore)
* glue that dries clear or hot glue
* time (30 minutes)

You cut the badding to the size of the frame, you then position the buttons onto the badding into the shape you desire. I decided to make mine in the shape of a heart so I used different shades of red buttons. Then one by one I glued them onto the badding. This took me a total of 30 minutes to do. The longest part of all this is waiting for the glue to dry. So as I left that to dry I went about doing some chores around the house. I then placed it in the frame and VOILA! It turned out wonderfully! Something to do on a rainy day ;)

I hope everyone is having a good week along with fabulous weather. They are calling for a beautiful weekend here. I will be able to get some outdoor work done.

So glad you're all safe! There's been flooding in our state as well -- though nowhere nearby. I can't imagine having to leave everything either.

Your prims are adorable! Best of luck with your sale!
