I know everyone has been waiting to see my bathroom finally completed.
Well actually we have a couple of other things that we want to do, like changing the sink to the one that sits on top of the counter with the big taps that can actually reach the sink. And then a country wooden counter top BUT until then this is the look that I was achieving. I just LOVE how it turned out. If you go back to when I first began blogging you will see that my bathroom was blue and really did not go with any other room in my house. My husband asked if it passed the "Sandy" look and I have to say YES...YES...YES!
I am so pleased...can you tell??? LOL
This sign is on the outside of the bathroom...I found this at the $1 $2 $3 Dollarstore back a few years ago and I think I paid $2 for it. But I would love to have a new sign reading "OUTHOUSE" with a picture of a outhouse. Maybe something that I will have to get Kindra to make for me...lol
This is the view from the hallway. My husband has yet to hang back up my magazine/toilet paper holder...hopefully tomorrow ;)
My cupboard that is VERY large and heavy that I had made back a few months ago for $50. On top of the cupboard are 3 little outhouses...I have a thing for outhouses BUT am very happy that we have running bathrooms today. I would not want to go back to outhouses...to many BUGS for me...YUCK!
This next picture is of my cute little sign that says "Country Bath" that I paid $5 for. The little basket on top of the toilet I got for only $5. I coffee died the face cloths (3 for a $1) and tied them together with a couple of candles that I had laying around. I thought my candle & holder would look great with the display along with some Oatmeal & Honey Soap that I made.
This next picture I love..."Bathroom Rules"...the color matches oh so well...
This next picture is of my lights which I have always LOVED. They never really matched my old bathroom BUT I must admit they go so well with the new look. I put some candle rings around each light just to give it a more finished look.
My mirror was glued to the wall but I really wanted this one with the black frame around it. So my husband worked very hard removing the old one without breaking it. You then see the glass jars on the counter...they were candles...so you can say I did some recycling...lol. They make the perfect little jars to keep Q-tips or cotton balls in. Then of course you can see some more Outhouse items such as my soap pump and night light.
Finally I wanted to show you the bottom of my Shower Curtain. Just a simple design that matches the valance. I also purchased this cute little throw rug from Sears for $39...alot cheaper then what you would pay in the Prim Stores.
So there is my little tour of my Bathroom. I hope the wait was worth it to everyone...lol
I have another great surprise to show everyone BUT that will only be tomorrow. So stay tuned until then.
Have a great evening...Sandy

Sandy, the bathroom looks great. I am going to "borrow" some decorating ideas for when we re-do our bathroom. I love how it all came together and looks so calm and relaxing. You did a great job on the shelf above the toilet. Very nice work!!! You should be proud...the whole project came out beautifully!!!
Your bathroom turned out great! I love the cabinet over the toilet and all your little touches.
hugs, Linda
Wow, Sandy! This tour was so worth the wait! I love everything -- the colors, details, and personal touches. Wonderful!
Have a great day! Can't wait for the "surprise"...
Sandy,
The tour of your bathroom was definitely worth the wait! I love everything! Your cupboard is gorgeous and I love the shower curtain and rug and all your prim touches. What does the sign say for Bathroom Behavior (sorry I couldn't read it all!) It is so cute!
Okay, now I can't wait for your surprise!

Well I can't really pick out a favorite! I love it all. All the prim touches make it such a wonderful room! I had that same light fixture in my old house. I miss it sooooo. I might have to buy another one for our home. You did a great job on your cabinet above the shelf. You are so talented! I also like that box on the toilet. Is that leather straps on there. And the molding around the mirror looks great! We have those mirrors that are just glued to the walls in our bathrooms. A little molding would make them look so much better. A great makeover Sandy!
