SORRY it has been so long...

I am so SORRY that I have not posted a single thing all week.
I got so caught up with everything else that I kind of put my blog on the back burner. But do not worry...I have so much to share that I will make sure each day this week there will be something new for you all to see and read ;)

Today I am sharing with you, some pictures from the Bridal Shower that I had for my dearest friend over the weekend. The weather was gorgeous so we all sat outside on my deck. Everyone fit comfortably under my gazebo. We played a couple of games with some nice homemade gifts to be won and then ate some really good food...lol
I did not decorate the house much. I made this cute banner with Bridal Shower written on it along with a really bad looking money tree. I completely forgot to make the tree and last minute slapped together the one that you will see located next to the bride. I am actually embarrassed to even say I did that but with everything else going on, it just slipped my memory until the actual day and then it was to late to do what I wanted to do. But everyone thought it was a good idea...lol.




We played the game BINGO, with Wedding words. The girls really like that one. BUT the best game of all was making a Wedding Dress out of toilet paper. The rules were you must pick someone from your team to be the bride and you have to make a dress from toilet paper. I gave the girls 10 minutes to do it in and we had two teams. You CAN NOT use anything like scotch tape and so on. You ONLY get toilet paper. The girls were quite creative but there was the one team who did a awesome job. They made a vale, a bouquet of flowers, a large bow on the side of the dress and the dress even had a train. The teams were mixed a bit so it was nice to see the two families working together to design their dresses. I took a pic as you will see below the two brides with the real bride. Once the time is up the true actual Bride is the judge and must choose which team she felt did the best. Of course she chose the ones who made the flowers with the vale and so on. It was so funny though because some women were stressed but then others were so laid back it didn't seem nothing bothered them. I awarded the winning team with each a night light that I had made. Back in some previous posts there were some night lights on my table. The women just loved their little gift.


So all in all we had a faboulous day. Weather was beautiful, women had fun and ate well.

Tomorrow I will share with you my bathroom. I just love it! I can now say it fits Sandy's approval...lol
