A Meme

Hello Everyone!

I am back from taking my oldest to the airport. Happy to know that she had a fun and safe trip on the plane. She is having a blast hanging out with her Aunt. My youngest is really missing her alot...new that would happen...lol

The weather has been really nice here. Enjoying my deck more and more. To my surprise today, my in-laws showed up with tons of flowers to be planted. Poor them...their neighbor decided to check out if they were planting their flowers on their property line or hers and come to find out they were 2 feet on her land. So now they have to dig EVERYTHING up and move it ALL. They have tons...so instead of throwing out any of the flowers they came over to my house and dug up the sod and planted all new plants. It is looking fabulous I might add! I will be sure to take some photos for tomorrow and post them so everyone can see how nice my garden now looks :)

To my surprise after reading the notes left behind on my blog, I had been tagged to do a meme by Rondell over at "Tomatoe Creek Primitives". Well Thank You Rondell for thinking of me...so here goes...

Name 5 things that I do for myself:

1- A way to change my mind...I do Genealogy, in which I just love! I love learning where my ancestors use to live to what they did for work. My last name has so many variations it in which I find very fascinating.

2- I workout on my Gazelle. I feel so much better after I have my workout on it.

3- Reading my ultimate favorite magazine from front to back..."The Country Sampler". I wish this magazine was published every month instead of every other...hehe

4- Another way to unwind and keep me busy...working on crafts of all sorts.

5- Take the time to come and check each and everyone of my favorite blogs. The girls always put a smile on my face.

Name 5 kind things I do for friends, my children or partner:

1- Do fun arts and crafts with my girls. I want them to have fond...fun memories!

2- Make really good deserts for everyone to enjoy and they ALL sure do;)

3- I always listen with a good ear for all my friends and family and try to show all my support that I have for them all. The door is always open for no matter what.

4- Every Monday night my husband has meetings so it is just us girls. Our night of quality time from eating to watching TV.

5- My neighbor has a little baby at home and I am always available to babysit when needed. I know how hard it is to lug a baby around when you have certain errands to do.

Name 5 kind things I've done for a stranger:

1- I always smile and acknowledge people. Smiling is contagious and takes less muscles compared to frowning.

2- Let someone go ahead of me in a line up, such as the grocery store or in a car.

3- I always hold the door open...no matter the age of the person and I have to agree with Rondell...those teenagers could use more manners.

4- Show someone how to use the Banking Machine.

5- Looked up in a phone book and phone number for someone.

Name 5 hobbies I enjoy:

1- Decorating my home as Prim/Country as I can.

2- Genealogy

3- Blogging with my new found friends :)

4- Arts and Crafts...primitive

5- Gardening
