~ Day 3 ~

WeLcOmE to Day 3 ~ ChOcOlAtE fOnDuE nIgHt

Today was spent cleaning...YUCK! But it has to be done...
I got all caught up on the laundry, made the beds, dusted and washed down the cupboards. It was a chilly day out so I stayed in and completed some much needed house cleaning. I also prepared a yummy chicken supper which everyone loves with some potatoes and carrots. Of course don't forget that homemade gravy which is the topping on the cake :)

Once supper was completed we enjoyed our Day 3 treat...chocolate fondue...yummy!
We had some fresh pineapple, strawberries and bananas. I have to admit that bananas and chocolate together are to die for. Of course I do have one difficult child who refuses to eat fruits so she had sponge cake dipped in chocolate. She claims it was good...not sure on that though. Abby loves fondue night...she is a big fruit eater and mixed with chocolate, can't beat that...LOL.
Tonight was coupon night, so you can see they were all waiting patiently to open their envelopes to see if they got a privilege or did they get a chore???
Abby got "Feed your family pet for one week". A simple chore for a little one. She was very excited to get that. Of course chores have no meaning to her yet...but wait when she gets older she will hate the idea. But for now she is happy :)
Tabitha got "No fighting with your Sister for a Day". She promises that she will make sure not to fight all day tomorrow. Yeah...right! There is no school tomorrow, so I will see how long it will last for. She was very relieved to find out that she did not pick do the dishes...LOL.
Mike chose "Eat a dinner in front of the TV"...he chuckled over this one. So I am not sure if he is happy or not to receive this coupon...LOL

So once again...another successful night ;)
This so far has been alot of fun because it is making us do things together as a Family.
In todays world QuAlItY tImE together is so important. We need to share our LoVe for eachother and make sure we DO tell our LoVeD oNeS how much we love them and how important they are in our lives. My family means the world to me and it makes me very happy to do this "12 Days of Valentines" for them. And it warms my heart to see them look forward to each day that I have planned on the calendar.

The next picture I had to share because I thought it made such a nice arrangement. Of course the pineapple no longer exists since it was so good dipped in chocolate :)
I hope everyone had a warm...sunny day. I look forward to sharing with you all tomorrow...Day 4 of our calendar. Have a great evening and we will see you all tomorrow.
