Can you believe we are already at the end of another month???
Tomorrow we will celebrate the beginning of September which leads us to another Season...Fall. I have slowly started taking out some Fall/Halloween decorations, getting excited to decorate now. Once I complete my Prim decorations, I will get the rest of the decorations out from storage and decorate :) I then will make sure to snap some pictures to share.
We had a wonderful brunch over at the In-laws and then went out to my parents house for supper. Yeah...no cooking :)
The other day my husband got camera happy with the kids at the In-laws and took some wonderful pictures of them. Mike has a brother who lives in Halifax, Nova
Scotia, so we don't get to see them nor the kids often. We had one last supper with them before they headed back home.
I just had to share a couple of pictures with you. The kids are so happy and they get along all so well. Seated is Tabitha, the oldest of the grandchildren at 11, then my
Abigayle who is the third oldest at 5 1/2. Keisha, who is the second oldest at 7 and then Ryan, the youngest at 3. Ryan is our little Godson and the only boy. Poor thing...but he can stand his ground with these three girls.

This next photo was such a great one! The little girl at the very end in white is
Abigayle's best friend who was over playing. I thought this picture was so cute.

Since we did
alot of visiting today I didn't get a chance to work on my projects but I promised I would share with you what I did do over the last couple of days. Here is my crow pillow finally finished. It looks so cute! Not sure where to place it quite yet so I am sure it will travel around the house a few times before it finds its
permanent place.

Next are some coasters that I made for Christmas gifts...YES...I did say Christmas. I have started my Christmas list early since we do have less then 4 months before the big celebration. I am going to make two
separate baskets with these coasters and I will add mugs and a homemade batch of Cocoa for Hot Chocolate, along with some other little goodies. I saw this idea in one of the Primitive Times Magazines that you get for free online. I thought it would make a excellent gift idea. Once I have the baskets ready I will take pictures to share.

Next are a couple of pictures of my Halloween Prim Decorations. This cute little pumpkin is missing his mouth and stem with leaves. Hopefully I will be able to complete it tomorrow. But isn't he cute??? I also need to prim him up for that grungy look.

And this next picture are my three little pumpkins. I am going to add these into my Halloween Tree along with this cute little pumpkin above and my cat's head that I made last week.

So this is it everyone. Yes...I have been keeping myself rather busy. I have had ALOT on my mind lately and the only way I can shut off my brain is to be creative. So by keeping myself busy with something I enjoy, I can't over think...I am known to be very bad for that.
Well I am off to check out some blogs...

The pictures of the kids are really nice! I like when they're something different like that but it's hard to even get my kids to look at the camera at the same time! LOL

I love the kids pictures! Too cute! They really looked like they were having fun! I love the crow pillow and the coasters! What a great idea!
Oh what great pictures of the kids! My kids will not let me take picturs of them much anymore.
What wonderful goodies you've made! Christmas... I can't even begin with what I need to do.
My Dad is on medication only. And of course becuase I want to tell you the names I can't think of them.(Indocin?) He has severe pain all the time. He just had epidural injections a few months ago but they didn't help. He has numbness down his legs now. It is odd that you did end up with it since like you say it is a male disease. I can only imagine the pain you are in as compared to my Dad.

I love your handmades--especially the crow. Thanks for the comments on my blog--you're so nice. Julie
What a great pillow you made! Great job!
