WOW...Another Great Giveaway!

Another Fall Giveaway...these ladies are spoiling us :)

A fellow Canadian Blogger is having this great giveaway to help promote her very new Website Store. You can either visit her at her blog or at her Website...
You can visit her site at; http://www.yesterdayscountryandprimdecor.com
and also her blog over at Canadian Country Gal. Just drop over and visit her to see the ruling.

WOW...I had a busy weekend. I finally finished with Abby's clothes. Believe it or not but it took us ALL afternoon to go through all her clothes. She had so much because she had all of her clothes but then her big Sis, Tab, gave her a whole bunch to. So we did alot of trying on and ended up filling a garbage bag full. And since we were busy doing that I decided to give her room one great cleaning. So I did not finish well into supper time. But now it is all done and I feel good about it.

I then found a new Flower Power Penny Rug online for free from Balsam Wreaths Country Scents & Gifts, balsamwreaths@att.net or her Etsy shop at balsamwreaths.etsy.com. So last night I cut out two patterns and by tonight I had them both all stitched up. I will post some pics tomorrow of the finished work. At the same time I also cut out candle sleeves to make BUT I seem to have a problem because I have nothing around the house that these fit on. According to the pattern they are for 16oz candles. Those must be some small candle...so I might make them as just mini penny rugs.

We actually had really nice weather all weekend BUT very cool in the evenings so I guess that is our sign...Fall is coming and coming quickly! I am actually starting to get excited to decorate in and outside.

I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend and I will check back tomorrow.

Until then...
Sandy

Hi Sandy!
I watch the girls today so I'm up early:) Cooler here too in the morning and evenings.
Could you tell me when you sent out my PTF? I like to be on the lookout for it.
Have a great day.

Wow you sound really busy. I need to go through my kids clothes too and then clean their rooms too. The only way I can clean though is if they are not here. LOL. I seem to be able to throw away a lot more.

Can't wait to see your penny rugs.

Hi there;

I tried to find the free penny rug pattern, but couldn't. Could you help? I love doing penny rugs.

BTW, I'm in Fredericton and my son is a pastor in Perth Andover! Small world!

Here are some places that I got my free penny rug/mat patterns...
1- http://www.asliceofheritage.com
(look on their side bar for free pattern)
2- http://www.patchpieces.com
(click on the free penny rug pattern)
There are a few there :)
3- http://www.patternmart.com
(Go to the search key in the drop list of Patterns and choose Free Patterns. Here they update every once and awhile free patterns from penny rugs to ornies. Lots of fun and FREE patterns :) The penny mat that I did is on the first page of free patterns and is called "Flower Power Penny Rug Pattern". They were very easy to make.

I hope these sites help!

To Anonymous,

I also forgot to mention that Perth-Andover is just the next town over from me...what a small world :)

I go to Fredericton often for shopping and visiting my friends...we have a few that live there. And my baby sister actually just graduated from STU so I use to go quite often.

Do you have a blog?

Thanks for stopping by.
