I forgot to ask...

I forgot to ask you all if someone has a recipe for a really awesome homemade cheesecake? Hubby and I are looking for maybe one made with caramel or something. Any recipes will be so greatly appreciated. I figured with so many great cooks out there someone must have a good one :)

Thanks...Sandy

Baked or no-bake? I have two great no-bake recipes... one lemon cheesecake, and the other my own ~*origonal*~ pumpkin cheesecake.
Maybe I should just post that one for fall...?
Thanks for your congrats on Kindra's blog... I'm so excited!

Blessings, Kimberly

Hi,

I just found your blog and look forward to spending more time reading checking it out :) Here is an AWESOME cheesecake recipe. It is a dense cake not fluffy. Hope you like it :)

The Ultimate Cheesecake

¾ cup honey graham cracker crumbs
¾ cup plus 2 Tablespoons of sugar
3 Tablespoons melted unsalted butter
2-1/2 packages (8 ounces) of cream cheese, softened
3 eggs
2/3-cup sour cream
2 Tablespoons heavy cream
1/3-cup milk
½ teaspoon vanilla

Mix graham cracker crumbs and 2 Tablespoons of sugar well and stir in melted butter. Press mixture into a greased 9-inch springform pan on bottom and along sides. (you may decide to double the crust recipe to make it easier to spread evenly in the pan).

In a large mixing bowl, blend cream cheese and remaining sugar until smooth. Add one egg at a time, beating after each, until fluffy. Add remaining ingredients and stir until combined. Pour mixture into crust lined pan. Bake at 350 degrees F for about 50-60 minutes.Serves 10.

I have a recipe for a chocolate truffle cake that has about a zillion calories per small slice. It is very very yummy too!
A good make ahead recipe.
Email me if you would like it, or post a comment on my blog.

Love your blog by the way:)
Wooly hugs,
Trudy
