~ Whatcha Working On Wednesday ~

What a day!

It was a beautiful sunny day! Just right to finally pack everything up from outside and put away for the Winter :(((
What a job that was but now it's done for yet another season.

We also cleaned under the stairs, our little cubby hole. Talk about a mess! It got to the point that we could not even walk in there. There was no way I was taking pictures of the before...I was very emabaressed. And now I feel so much better knowing that it is finally cleaned and organized three hours later. Alot went to the garbage...don't tell the kids...LOL, no really there was alot of stuff that was garbage but this tiny little spot alos needed some major organizing.
To my surprise, I found the carving of my Santa face that I promised I would share...
He hangs outside on my front porch form November right into the Winter months. I have had many threaten me that he will go missing and I have threaten them I would track them down and...LOL. No really he is just so nice that everyone who enters my home loves him :)

I also wanted to share with you my recent purchase from the great Kindra ;)
Ever since I saw her gameboards, I fell in love with them. You see, I collect different gameboards and just had to have this one to add to my collection. Because we were so busy doing other things, we never got the gameboard up on the wall. Will get that done tomorrow and then I promise a picture of it displayed amongst the rest of my games. I can't wait to hang it up either, it will look great!

I also purchased a set of Winter Blocks. I currently have the Summer, Fall and now Winter. So you know Kindra I will have to make another order again because I am going to need to the Spring set...hehe. Isn't her work just wonderful???
She also sent along a wonderful card. Thanks Kindra...I and my friend are very pleased. I never got to take a picture of what my friend ordered because she was just so excited to get it but she ordered the blocks with her family's names on them.
So as promised this gameboard will be hung up tomorrow and the picture will be posted.
And last but not least...I am letting all you folks know that Tammy from Country Girl at home is having such a wonderful giveaway. BUT it's mine...you see it will be my 35th birthday tomorrow and what a wonderful gift to win on a day like that. No really, October 9th is the deadline so get yourselves signed up if you would like a chance to win.
I guess I must run for now and will check back with you wonderful ladies tomorrow. I also completed a project and made a little something else that I also will share...so until tomorrow have a great evening :)

I sure love that Santa! Your FIL does a lot of work!

And is that homemade wine??? YUM!! There is a gal that makes primitives in the area and her husband makes wine as a hobby. In the fall she has a big boutique and they serve wine to all the customers. It's a fun time. They have fun flavors like apple, blueberry, cherry, pinapple.

I'm glad your goodies got to you all in one piece. I'm always worried about that. And so glad that you and your friend like them!!! Can't wait to see the game board with your other collection. :)

We need to get some end-of-season organizing done, too!

Have a great night!

Love the Santa and your gameboard is great! I spent all last week working on decluttering my house. It sure is nice to be able to get around without worrying if something will fall on you.
